Herm Steiner Nurse Doll Herm Steiner Nurse Doll. marked Made in Germany Herm Steiner 14/0 She is a bisque socket head doll she is 9 inches on the original 5 piece composition body with tan low socks and brown 2 strap heeled shoes. The clothing very nice and appears to have been made by the owner of the doll, the white dress is hand stitched and the apron is machine stitched and has the word Nurse written on the upper apron. The underwear is also hand stitched. The hat is machine sewn and the cape is blue felt with white ribbon stitched on the cape. She has the original brown mohair short curly wig and brown sleep eyes. She has no cracks or repairs. She does have a little shoulder back that is white with a red cross on it and a metal enamel red cross button on the cape, it says 30 years on it, so she may have been a gift for a Nurse.

She has no repairs or repainting.

The body is wood and composition and has the original finish. She has blue set eyes, upper and lower painted lashes. The wig is the original brunette mohair wig in braids in spiral buns. She has an open mouth with molded teeth, no chips cracks or hairlines. The costume is the original wonderful patriotic costume with red and white stripe skirt, white blouse and a blue collar with stars, there are red ribbons and a waist band in blue and white dots. She is adorable, the shoes and socks are not original.

Parian Doll with Molded Blouse Parian with molded blouse. She is a 15 ¼ inch beautiful Parian made by Kling. The doll has blond molded hair pulled back and a white molded collar as the shoulder plate with a blue striped ascot, there is some gold trim in the ascot area. The doll has the original cloth body that is like a fashion body with kid arms and sewn fingers, the doll is wearing an silk blouse with large lace collar and a wine color stripe cotton dress that matches the shoes, she has white pantaloons and slip. She is a very pretty example of the parian, this doll has been used both as a young boy or a girl.

Wonderful Simon Halbig Bisque Boy Simon Halbig Bisque Boy shoulder head. He is 21 inches on the original cloth and leather body with leather arms with stitched fingers. The doll has stripe socks and attached leather shoes, part worn away. The shoulder head has no chips, cracks or hairlines. He has blonde hair, 1 stroke of hair is darker than the rest, he has beautiful blue eyes, and rosy cheeks and a closed mouth. He is dressed in what appears to be the original clothing except for the vest which may be a bit later than the doll and the clothing. The shirt is a blue stripe and the pants are a black herringbone. The vest is black with blue trim and buttons. He is a very handsome young man

Dresden Gent by Kling Parian Elaborate doll Parian Shoulder head boy by Kling referred to as the Dresden Gent is 14 inches tall. He has a side parted hairstyle with deeply indented horizontal curls on the top and sides of his head. With shirt details that include a gold trimmed stand up collar and flat bow. He has large blue eyes, and a slightly smiling mouth. There is a 1 inch hairline at the edge of the right shoulder plate, with a small chip out at the edge, the chip is covered by clothing, he has a tiny paint dot between the eyebrows, it is the hair color so it may be a factory flaw. The dolls body is the original but he is very skinny. The body is all cloth, the hands are brown leather to look like gloves, they are not coverings but the actual hands. The feet are china multi button brown shoes. The dolls plants are black cotton, with a print white shirt, and a very early brown check jacket, the pants and shirt are later than the doll or the jacket. He is a wonderful doll.

They both have solid dome heads with holes and held onto the body with string. The wood body is painted it does have some minor flaking to the paint The bodies are jointed at the shoulders and hips, the dolls have brown mohair wigs.The features are painted. They were made in Germany. Both are dressed identically in the original chemise with lace and floral decorations.

The doll is dressed in a blue check outfit with lace collar. The doll has blue socks and replacement shoes. The doll has a retoration on the tip of the head in the hair, it shows up with black light, it is hard to detect without the light. The doll whistles lightly when the mechanism is pressed.

The costume is a red plaid skirt, and sash and covering over the shoes, with black velvet jacket and hat. The doll also has a heather pin. An adorable small bisque head doll.

She has a cloth body, with bisque lower arms and lower legs, the arms are a matching set but both are right hands, this was probably a factory flaw. The feet are black flat shoes with some wear to the paint. The doll has blue painted eyes, red cheeks and red lips. A very nice early doll.
