Goebel Googlie circa 1910 marked 330 5 1/2 inches. She is an adorable all bisque Googlie in a ram’s horn hairstyle. She is on page 134 in the History of Googlies book. Her arms and legs are wire jointed. She has painted vertically ribbed socks with blue trim at the top and brown one-strap heeled shoes complement a marroon dress that is faded on the top, it has a white zigzag print with dots. The doll has set brown side glancing eyes, open closed mouth with upper and lower molded teeth. She has upper and lower painted eyelashes. She has no chips cracks or hairlines. A wonderful hard to find Googly. She is marked 330 12 Germany. |
