Blonde Rare Alice China 13 inches Rare Alice China with wavy curls, she has blue eyes, she is a fine early doll beautifully painted. She has a black head band and wavy blonde curls. She is a beautiful china shoulder head on a cloth body with china lower arms the head dates to 1850-1860 The legs are china with black low heeled boots. The doll is wearing what is probably the original brown floral dress, it is delicate. She has no chips or cracks. According to the Seely book on china dolls she is the early version of the Alice type doll. She has blue eyes, black lid line brown eyebrow and red nostril dots and inner eye dots. No chips, cracks or hairlines. |
