He is a very unusual 12 1/2 inches with a composition flange neck head on an all cloth body with composition arms and legs. His head is composition with a molded hat I believe he is represents a Japanese soldier. He dates to around 1880 The clothing is cotton and matches the hat is was all hand made lightly faded in spots. The ribbon on the belt is replacement. He also has antique shoes. Very unusal Early doll in very good condition.
