Covered Wagon China Kister This is a 15 inch early covered wagon china with a pink tint by Kister. She has black hair and blue eyes. According to the Pictorial Reference Guide for German Chinas, this doll was manufactured by Kister . The body is a cloth with china fore arms and leather brown boot with black lace stockings, one shoe may have been restore but it was very long ago and hard to detect. The doll dates to 1850, the dress is a beautiful floral green print and she has white underwear are all the right age for the doll. Dress has a very few small areas of wear. She has no chips or cracks there is a faint line from the top of the right front sewing hole but it appears to be only in the glaze and was a factory flaw. She has a tiny pinhole or pepper speck below the right eye. She is a beautiful nice size very early china.
