Herm Steiner Nurse Doll. marked Made in Germany Herm Steiner 14/0 She is a bisque socket head doll she is 9 inches on the original 5 piece composition body with tan low socks and brown 2 strap heeled shoes. The clothing very nice and appears to have been made by the owner of the doll, the white dress is hand stitched and the apron is machine stitched and has the word Nurse written on the upper apron. The underwear is also hand stitched. The hat is machine sewn and the cape is blue felt with white ribbon stitched on the cape. She has the original brown mohair short curly wig and brown sleep eyes. She has no cracks or repairs. She does have a little shoulder back that is white with a red cross on it and a metal enamel red cross button on the cape, it says 30 years on it, so she may have been a gift for a Nurse.
