Early Milliners Model Early 1840 Milliner Model with Queen Victoria Hairdo. The doll is 14 inches with black hair, and molded bun in back. The doll has some typical crazing. The body is kid with reinforcement at the waist, and above the paper wrappings on the legs and arms, it was done with white leather. The doll has the wood arms and legs. She is wearing a white dress with blue floral print and a homespun blue and tan apron. Very early papier mache doll.
