Philadelphia Baby 1900 Philadelphia Baby 22 ½ inches. 1900 from the JB Sheppard store in Philadelphia. The head on this doll is a bit larger than some of the others I have had making this a baby doll instead of a young child. The doll is molded stockinet with oil painted features and hair. The body is jointed at the shoulders, hips and knees. The doll has some typical age and wear and a nose rub. She is dressed all in white with layers of under clothing, the clothing appears to be the original clothing. What is especially charming about the clothing is in two areas there is writing on the inside seams one says poor child and the other is a name, either the owner or the dolls name. The shoes and socks also appear to be original.

Ernest Heubach 452 7 inch Black Doll Germany Ernest Heubach 452 7 inch black doll. The doll 7 inches and is a painted bisque head on a 5 piece composition body. The doll is wearing the factory original clothing, a silk ribbon shirt, cotton white jacket and pants. The doll has the original hoop earrings and black set eyes. The hair is molded and painted open mouth with molded teeth. The doll has no chips, cracks or hairlines.
